Our SMPP Gateway API allows you to connect with us using Short Message Peer-to-Peer (SMPP) protocols. During the setup of this process, you’ll establish binds from your External Short Message Entity (ESME) to our Short Message Service Center (SMSC) end points.
New to SMPP?
SMPP is a more advanced system than our HTTP API. Because of this, we only recommend that experienced SMPP users set up this connection with us. If you’re looking for documentation on how to use our HTTP Message APIs, please go here

Here’s what else you should know:
Vibes supports sending short messages using SMPP protocol version 3.4. The Vibes Connect Platform uses the standard SMPP components, plus some additional optional parameter values for its product. This documentation should be read in conjunction with the specification, and a familiarity with the SMPP specification is assumed.
For reference, the complete protocol can be found in PDF form here.
